Their new collection, for 2008, Conversations without Words, is a poignantly beautiful, almost innocent expression of Anna and David's relationship, of the contemplative rhythms of their joined forces, their interlocking ideas and skills. The powerful purity of form, seen to perfection in the Temple ring and earrings, is reinforced yet softened by the perfect lustre of pave pearls and lit by flashes of burning orange through the unexpected introduction of the fire opal.

Anna explains, "I strive for elegance, contemporary and classical interplay, and colourful glamour." The pieces are, she explains, in conversation with each other, reaching out and connecting to the world. The Hiscocks love the idea that someone, unknown to them, sees their work, believes in it and wears it. This is sure to happen more and more, as collectors around the world respond to this quiet luxury, a luxury that whispers. "You will," says Anna, "only find the Hiscocks if you look for them in the right place."
